Drummer: RESPONSE NEGATIVE Are 'Far From Over'

April 26, 2005

Despite guitarist Bobby Gustafson's (ex-OVERKILL) announcement last week that RESPONSE NEGATIVE have called it a day due to a "lack of professionalism and drive from within the band" combined with "a lack of label interest," RESPONSE NEGATIVE are "far from over," according to the group's drummer, Jim McCourt. "While it is true that Bobby is no longer with RESPONSE NEGATIVE, we wish him nothing but the best," McCourt told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "With that being said, auditions for a new guitarist have already begun. We have been inundated with e-mails from guitarists who want to audition.

"We thank everyone for their support, and again wish to express the fact that we’re not going anywhere! As soon as auditions are complete we will be announcing some new tour dates, and then it's back to the studio. We're very proud of our new material and we can't wait for everyone to hear it."
